Monica : So Monica hit me up on Model Mayhem last month. She needed more photographs for her portfolio and I was more than happy to do it and team up with Jerry of Skyline Studios here in Houston. I admit, I was very timid and a little overwhelmed by Jerry's ginormous studio lights. But he was so nice about it and very patiently showed me what's up. I even brought my ABR800 ring light to play with - check out the first two photos. Scrumptious, right?

After about 30 minutes with Virginia McConnell of Lipstick and Locks Makeup Artistry, Monica stepped into the light and bedazzled my camera. So, hopefully, I did her beautiful face justice.

This is an awesome place at downtown Houston. Everyone there is friendly and very helpful, specially Jerry. If you ever get the chance to take a workshop or visit there, don't think twice!

IFC: Evolution (Fashion Show) 2009 :
It was my first time shooting an event. Very cool, although the low light situ kept me on my toes. The event was comprised of St. Mary's students modeling clothes by local designers. DC models provided guest appearances.
